To have a successfull project, we first need money. With this money we can buy the materials we need for the project. A first estimate made by Victor Monroy, the director of the children's village Kigarama is 12000 dollar. After our first calculations, we believe we can do the project for 'just' 6000 - 7000 euro. We get this amount from the folowing calculation: - Repair of the internet connection of the nearby hospital ( € 1500)
- Lightning protection/grounding (€ 500 - € 1000)
- Two wireless sets with solar panal and battery (€ 1500)
- Payment local craftsmen (€ 2000)
- Reservarion for upkeeping (€ 1000)
We don't have this money laying around. It is a privat initiative. Although the result of our work will benifit an organisation, we run this project ourself, from planning to the building of the connection. Your help is therefor needed. Every gift is welcome. In the next few weeks, we will also start looking for sponsors and plan fund raisers. Details on these efforts can be found on this website. Of course the visitors of the website will be provided with our financial situation. You can contribute to our project by transfering money to: Banknumber: 7476793 On behave of: P.
